BlogNor09 no. 1

I have been waiting for this day for a few weeks, since the good folks of Writers Centre Norwich told me about the project. I started my day with a trip to the dentist so that has made me a little slow off the mark as a hefty injection of whatever drugs they use left me more groggy than bloggy (didn't improve my literary judgement either).

However, I fully intend to participate for the rest of the day. I have already added a couple of significant places for me to the digital map - Norwich Arts Centre and Norwich Puppet Theatre, and now I am going to think a little more about places that really affect me ut might not be immediately obvious - like King Street which often starts my day with a cycle ride. In good weather, it can be a very sociable journey as I meet all sorts of people on the way - King Street has a lot of creative activity along its length - but is also the oldest street in the city, the old northwards droving road and so is steeped witha long history of feet that have travelled that way to work, I am only one of the latest in a long, long stream.

Speaking of which, I had better get on my way along that stream as I have moreorless recovered from being drugged and the associated adrenalin rush and I must get to work now. More later
